Just want to say that for the time it's been running this is actually a fantastic controller. It feels great, it's comfortable and feels durable. And I already have 3 of them. The first just got up and stopped working altogether. The entries were still not properly registered after about a month. The second lasted about a month and a half before the right stick started acting weird, constantly and randomly triggering the left input, no matter which direction I held it, no matter what game I was playing, the camera just shot to the left. And this third one lasted about 3 weeks and the inputs keep changing. I keep pressing A over and over, and in fact it's completely random which button the controller thinks I've pressed. These issues (except the first one because I think a part broke off inside) can ALL be fixed with firmware or software fixes, but this is one of the important features of this controller. Drivers are all static. There is nothing that can be updated or installed to reconfigure, reinstall, or otherwise fix these issues. Software or firmware that cannot be updated at all leaves the buyer with a completely useless controller if something is encrypted. In honor of SteelSeries, they're always great at processing RMAs and sending out replacements, but heck, I don't have to order new controllers every month. I've given up all SteelSeries controllers for now as the Stratus XL was just an absolute nightmare to try and use and I'm in the process of purchasing an additional Xbox One controller for PC. I just don't trust the quality of SteelSeries anymore. I used to be such a staunch supporter, but lately it seems like cutbacks are being made wherever possible.
