
In plumbing, there are often situations where a very large wrench is needed, but not a large amount of torque. That's the key to situations like this. The handle is very short, the tool is lightweight aluminum so is NOT very strong, but the jaws open very wide allowing you to work on many things that are too big for the Crescent or Channellocks wrenches that the most people have on hand. And it will work better than a strap wrench. I don't see the price right now so can't rate it, but if it's under $15 it's a nice addition to your toolbox.
