Review on 📷 HuddleCamHD USB Conference Cameras: Ultimate PTZ Control for Zoom Video Conferencing (3X, Black) by John Rocha

Got this camera this week and tried it yesterday. We were very happy to have an affordable PTZ camera option (with pan and tilt/zoom) so we decided to give this one a try. The PTZ feature on this camera is amazing and works great! Although this camera says it's HD, HD doesn't work over USB. Since it's only USB 2.0 and the camera doesn't compress images well, the USB bus can't handle the amount of data the camera is trying to send if you're trying to use a high resolution. This was especially true when we were using Ustream. The frame rate drops to 1 fps or less when we try anything over 240p, and when we try to go to 720p the USB bus stops responding and gives us errors. Unfortunately this camera does not work like the Logitech c920 as this camera supports high resolution over USB 2.0. I don't know how they control it via USB 2.0 but it works (unlike this camera). Now that I called customer service they were very friendly and helpful even though they couldn't get the camera to work for me. They basically told me that in order to do what I needed I would have to upgrade to a 10x version of the camera that runs over USB 3.0. I would have if we had money at the time!
