Based on other reviews I was concerned about the quality and finish. I ordered two in linen and it's a lovely fabric and more gray than ivory. Sewing is fine with no issues and problems. Since I was planning on using them as steps for my small dogs to access the furniture, I wanted fabric rather than faux leather for footing. As mentioned in other reviews, it tends to tip over. I think that's because the legs aren't on the corners, they're a little inside the corners so it's not as stable. Our heaviest dog (13lbs) doesn't seem to have a problem, but our little 7lbs turn her over. To solve this problem, I ordered some 3" round wood discs that I painted black to match the stool's legs, and then attached them to the bottom of each leg, creating a large leg/base on the legs. stability and prevent the stools from tipping over when puppies jump on and off them. I know it hurts but I loved the look, shape, style, color and height of the stools so much it was worth it. me.
