ORIGINAL LARGE SIZE REVIEW: I'm 5ft 4in, weigh about 150lbs, have an apple shaped body and normally wear a US size 10. According to seller's size chart I wear large in black and blue ordered. The short one itself goes just below the navel, and I have a muffin top that size. The pant leg is about 3-4" above my knee, which I like (I wear a 30" inseam). The pant leg wasn't too tight to show any cellulite bumps or bulges but wasn't loose like baggy or shorts here is my problem with shorts the fabric creases and shows a huge V shaped contour where my leg meets the torso meets; basically I have a big "V" shaped fabric where, well, my V. It really draws attention and doesn't flatter the muffin and the "V" I wonder if I might should have gone one size bigger. So while I'm sending them back I'll reorder them to XL and see if they fit better in both places and hopefully the larger size doesn't affect the length of the shorts I'll update my review then In fact the waist belt has been increased I'm a bit bigger and just covered my navel and fitted my waist much better. So it was a lot more flattering than the large one I had previously ordered and tried. The pant leg was slightly longer in the extra large size and was about 2-3 inches above my knee but still looked nice. fitted snugly around the leg so no cellulite lumps or bumps were visible on the fabric. Unfortunately, the V-shaped corrugated fabric remains. I haven't seen other reviewers report this issue, so maybe it's just the fact that I'm shaped like an apple? Or my character? I do not know. But I will return them and give up this style.
