UPDATE 6/20/17: Upgraded one more star because NTK sent us a replacement tent pole just in case. Can't wait to take our tent out into the wild! UPDATE 6/19/2017: We received a replacement rain cover and inner tent, with great feedback from NTK Customer Service Representative (Alex). The replacement came quickly but I'm glad I set up the tent before we started our trip as it wouldn't have come quickly enough if we were already on holiday. At first glance, the material of the tent floor and the material of the rain cover feel different. than the original tent we received so hopefully it was just a product defect. I'll keep updating as soon as we get a chance to put it in its place. However, the customer service of this company is excellent. So if this replacement tent lasts I would happily buy from them again. first hike this summer only to discover a large rain fly hole. The hole is not at a seam or stress point, which makes me wonder about the strength of the fabric as a whole. When I packed the tent I also noticed holes and tears in the tent floor which feels like a tarpaulin. These holes appear to be defective as we have not yet had a chance to take the tent out for outdoor camping. I'm giving two stars because the company contacted me as soon as I informed them of the problem. I will update this review if we can fix the issue. Aside from my concerns about the durability of the fabric, I really like the design of this tent. This is a great tent for the money and I'm glad we bought it. First the good: 1. The tent has a door on both sides. Both are identical so either side can be configured as a main entrance/exit. The other side can be configured as a lobby.2. The interior has a high tub floor and the mosquito net starts high enough to provide some privacy in the lower parts. There is a room divider that is easy to hang and has loops so it can be rolled up on either side and left in place.4. There are large pockets for gear and a central hook for hanging a flashlight.5. We can accommodate our three air mattresses (one double and two singles) and have freedom of movement. This tent sleeps 4 comfortably and has room for a small dog.6. The color helps keep you cool inside. ASSEMBLY: I'm a small 5ft 4in woman and was able to assemble this tent myself with no problem. I needed a step stool to tie the tent poles to the top. - in the middle of the tent and it took me a few minutes to figure out the best way to set up the rain cover with the pole attached. Now that I know how everything works, it only takes a few minutes to install. even better with two people but not necessary Things I wish for this tent / other considerations: 1) This tent has no base and as far as I can tell NTK doesn't leave room for their tents. I bought a 10X15 tarp but I would prefer if the tarp was the right size for the tent. 2) There are no extra hooks or loops inside the tent to add loft or other storage space. 3) I would prefer a room. a partition that was closer to the full height of the tent. While a room divider is fine for providing privacy for changing clothes, it's little more than hanging a sheet. ) It's not a light tent and it could still sleep more people if everyone uses a mommy bag and a small sleeping pad as it's clearly a campervan and not a tourist tent, if I were in a tent with more than 4 people it would I definitely do wish there was more/different design in the tent. 5) Since you really can't use this tent without a raincover (without sacrificing total privacy), I wish the raincover had some vents. and I wish there was a place we could plug an extension cord into the tent so we could charge our devices at night when the campgrounds have electricity. Overall I think the tent is great for the price. It doesn't have a lot of frills, but it's a good size, we can stand comfortably in a tent, there's a divider for privacy, a rain cover creates a vestibule on either side, and it has two large doors and hardware. bags. All in all this is a good family tent.
