Review on πŸ•―οΈ Premium 100pcs Wooden Candle Wicks for DIY Candle Making - Smokeless Wicks with Iron Stand by Kim Sanchez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good start but not the best

I am new to candle making and have decided to use wood wicks and beeswax for my new adventure. It is unlikely that I will buy these wicks again. The second group of images shows the tunnel construction. That's why I used 3 wicks on my next candle (the first set of pictures). Photos 5 and 6 show the sizes of the candles I made. Using 3 wicks solved the tunneling problem and gave the candle a crackling sound similar to that of Wood Wick Co. candles. I gave this product 4 stars because I love the metal base they come with and they are easy to cut with scissors. Steps/Materials I used to make my candles * Room temperature tested (62 degrees Fahrenheit) * 1 hour before manually rubbing a drop of essential oil into the center of the wick (I used 3 wicks per 1 wick holder on both * Preheat 4 oz glass jar (Pyrex) to 200 degrees F * I heated 4 ounces Opeshar beeswax to 160 degrees F * Pour 9.5g (0.33 ounces) of essential oil at 145 degrees F * Mixed with 1/4 teaspoon Pearl Ex -Pigment powder at 140 -135 degrees Fahrenheit *Glass container removed from oven *Metal wick holder with wooden wick placed in glass container *Opeshar beeswax poured into glass container *Added 2g of argon oil and gently stirred the candle *Wait for wax to set (3 hours - 24 hours) and the top coated with Pearl Ex powder "made of wax. After about 3 minutes the flame burned the wood as if it looked like incense sticks. I blew out the candle and lit it again to get a nor male to get candle flame. Thrown heat (strong candle smell when lit) and ex-pearls create brilliant waves when burned!
