I'm by no means an expert on candle making, but I've spent several years in the candle industry. Wooden wicks are finicky by nature and require more maintenance and adjustment than a regular wick. I've found this to be true across the board from high end candles to cheap finds so make sure you research them before using them and giving a bad review. I am new to candle making and have decided to use wood wicks and beeswax for my new adventure. It is unlikely that I will buy these wicks again. The second group of images shows the tunnel construction. That's why I used 3 wicks on my next candle (the first set of pictures). Photos 5 and 6 show the sizes of the candles I made.
