The rubber stopper is loose. mold trap?
The rubber insert in the hinged lid came out fairly soon after purchase. This is the part that makes it somewhat airtight when closed. I used crazy glue to fix it. It fell off again recently and wasn't too clean underneath. I've only used this top for transport, not shaking or drinking much, but I'm not too happy with what could get stuck in there and for how long. I would add a photo of the elliptical piece but it was lying on the counter looking like someone had thrown it. Maybe for the better.
