This watch was my best buy! I bought it specifically to be able to make and receive calls from our 7 year old without having to buy an actual cell phone. That works great! I tested calling from cellphone to watch and vice versa and it works great. It is easy to work with so your child will never get confused. It specifically states that you should BUY a SIM card from "SPEEDTALK" along with the watch to use it for calling services. So be sure to do this, otherwise incoming and outgoing calls will not work! Only $5/month for 100 minutes, so buy the SPEEDTALK simulation again and nothing else! You can also find the SPEEDTALK SIM kit on Amazon. Also, to insert a SIM card, open the back of the watch and "press" the flap of the SIM card holder, insert the SIM card and press the flap to lock it. If you look, the valve will say "open" and "close," indicating which way to push it. I had trouble figuring it out at first, so here's how to do it! Parents, please make this purchase for peace of mind if you need to contact your little ones!
