I accidentally spilled some limescale cleaner down our stainless steel sink. An hour later, the sink was covered with a black coating. My wife asked if we shouldn't just replace the entire sink, but instead I bought this product to see if I could save him (and my marriage). It worked like a charm. The paste removed the stains almost immediately. The hardest part is getting rid of the leftover paste. It's best, in my opinion, to dry as much as possible with a dry paper towel. Then wipe it again with a damp paper towel and running water. This requires a lot of elbow grease. Finally I used a terry cloth coated orbital electrobuffer and voila. Ideal. Looks great. Good product.
