Review on Mitutoyo 293 185 0 001Mm QuantuMike Micrometer by Cristofer Cejudo

In my opinion: Very good! By far the largest and heaviest 0-1" mic I've ever seen, but (at least in my case) I warmed up almost immediately. I didn't feel that way with the larger thread (2mm/rev) of the quick-lift feature sure, but turned out to be a big improvement. Over 6" closed; see attached photos. According to the Mitutoyo website, it weighs 265 grams (which is 9.35 ounces or 0.58 pounds). I wish Mitutoyo had a little more in it the product documentation is plugged in... the included instruction poster (in 11 languages) leaves a lot to be desired but it's no problem. Strange... the device they sent me has no serial number! I suspect it's not a fake otherwise the quality seems ingrained. The microphone is marked "Made in Japan". Update II from 01.12.2019. The microphone does not have an on/off switch. Any tiny movement and the device will "wake up" for the next full cycle; always annoying.***
