Review on 🏎️ Enhanced Performance: Standard Motor Products RU109 Blower Motor Resistor by Joe Lara

Fits my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Hemi Extended and works well. Total installation time for this part alone would only be a few minutes. I also replaced the fan motor with a Four Seasons Revain motor and a Dorman mix/recirculation damper. I recommend doing all 3 at once. The fan motor draws too much current, causing the resistor to burn out. The reason the fan motor is drawing too much current is a faulty mixer/recirculation damper restricting airflow, increasing pressure and forcing the fan motor to work harder to move the air. I recommend replacing all 3 parts at once. The faucet/air recirculation door requires breaking the dash, but it's actually not that hard. There are literally dozens of how-to videos on Youtube to help you with this.
