I received a Grippes set through treason to share with friends. These have quickly become a huge hit at our MOMS Club playdates. When left to their own devices even the older kids (6+) find them intriguing and love to build. The blocks are soft coated with rubber making them less dangerous when thrown but toddlers and quieter when dropped or kicked on hardwood or tile. This is a huge improvement form other magnet block sets. My 18mo old LOVES the soft textures on the rod pieces and crawls around with 2-3 pieces all the time. If you like to introduce geometric design and simple STEM principals this toy is a greta way to include your youngest children too. Great toy at a great price!
