I'm pretty tech savvy but this machine has given me nothing but headaches from day one. It has many attractive features and all of them are extremely difficult to use. You have to go through a dozen steps to complete a feature. And if you run out of energy during the next storm. Guess what!. You need to go through all of these steps to set everything up again. Even simple functions like copying and faxing take forever because of paper jams left and right. Also, the memory fills up quickly (a few-page fax can fill it up) and it then refuses to print any more faxes until the memory is cleared. In the business world, missed faxes mean lost money. Technically, our MFC-970MC is in great shape, but I'd spend a few hundred bucks more for something else because it was such a waste of time and hassle.
