Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Vornado TRANSOM Window Fan - 4 Speeds, Remote Control, Reversible Exhaust Mode, Weather Resistant Case - White by Shannon Judd

does not fit on the window due to improper temperature control and overwhelms the wind.

The quiet and short fan I was looking for. However, it does not match the window and the temperature is connected incorrectly. He also can't handle the wind blowing on him. First the fit. My window has a 3/8" protective layer at the bottom of the window so the foam blocks that came with it don't fit and leave big gaps. There are 2 reasons. First, it's a protective layer, she shortens them every 3/8 inch so they fall backwards into the window. Second, since the inside of the window isn't a perfect 1 inch border, there are gaps between the blocks. Blocks come in 1, 2, and 4" sizes. So if you need to fill a 2 3/4" gap, you don't welcome an unfilled 3/4" window. Second, the thermostat. It measures the outside temperature , not I disabled a bimetal thermostat in my room It reads 80F The fan reads 57F (outside temp) I want cooler outside air inside but it won't happen automatically because the thermostat for the fan is set in the wrong place , which means that in summer the fan only turns on when the air outside the hill is getting warmer. If I have a heat-sucking fan, an external anemometer spins the fan and makes a grating noise when the motors are loaded.I am not sure if i will keep this fan or not.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Wait too long
