I like this as an alternative to Mod Podge photo transfer media because it is translucent and almost transparent once dry. DecoArt transfer material is less viscous and easier to apply in even, thin layers. I continue to use both, but prefer DecoArt for smooth wood, glass, metal and other smooth, non-porous materials. For me, using this product on wood usually requires the extra step of applying an opaque coat of white acrylic photo paint to give the appropriate contrast. I'm excited to try this stuff using a new smooth photo transfer technique I've seen online!
