Great value for money

Pro: price. For what you pay, you get a lot of nice features. Yes, there are better projectors for a lot more money, but for an entry-level model it was pretty cheap. Smart Features / Android OS: We only use Netflix, Hulu, etc. and don't subscribe to a cable or satellite company, so being able to stream them was a huge plus. WiFi is good and easy to set up. It seems to be picking up the signal well. Our router across the street from the house is down and the signal is still pretty strong (of course that partly depends on your Wi-Fi gear, but we don't have anything special). I also like the fact that I can download apps from the Play Store. Even use the internet if you want. Bluetooth works great too. For those wondering, it can send Bluetooth signals to audio devices. Image Quality: This isn't a cinema quality machine, but then again, it doesn't cost that much. I installed it in a dark bedroom and it's bright/clear enough for our needs. I wouldn't recommend viewing it in more than minimal ambient light, leave that trick to pricier projectors. But for me, at least part of the pleasure of watching a movie or TV is a theatrical experience that involves a darkroom. Cons: The audio could be clearer. It has plenty of volume, but distortion at higher decibels is noticeable. I fixed this by purchasing a separate soundbar with a subwoofer. It's wireless and easy to connect. Instructions: These are pretty basic, but the projector isn't that complicated. Remote Control: Like many reviewers, I found the remote control to be too basic, especially when using Android features. I fixed it with a keyboard and wireless mouse and they work great. Lack of better connections: I was dismayed to see that there weren't more advanced audio connections like optical. RCA is ok but not required. I would hope that as it offers a more advanced operating system they will step up the connections a bit. Of course, this can be overcome, but at no additional cost. By the way, this is not a short throw projector. I set it 12ft from the screen and the image size is about 8ft by 5ft, but if I had space it could be bigger. When all is said and done, quality and value are there. Very happy with my purchase. For me, the features outweigh the cons. The pictures were taken 5 minutes after the initial installation (yes, the screen is off-center, I know). The blue lines in the Star Trek image are part of the film itself, and Lieutenant Uhura is out of focus.

Pros
  • WIFI NETWORK: This smart mini home projector has a built-in Wi-Fi network that offers wireless streaming capability to connect to your device and an Android dual-core computer system . It is also compatible with Blu Ray.
Cons
  • There are shortcomings
