Very nice genuine leather. I like real leather because it doesn't wear out as quickly as faux leather. The magnetic closure is quite strong. I was actually looking for a suede bag like this just because smooth leather is pretty smooth and tends to fall out of the bag when I sit down. I have to keep checking my bag where the suede isn't as smooth. But yeah I would recommend this case, it's pretty good. I like the longer magnetic tab. I bought one with a short magnetic pull tab and if you put more than one card in the slot it won't stay closed. This remains closed. If you put more into the skin, they won't be as smooth. But actually I would order it again. UPDATE: I just ordered another one. My old one is a year old and has hardly any signs of wear. I just wanted fresh.
