I tried quite a few Aiptasia killers before I came across Blue Life RX. The Red Sea material was the last I used and it was 50/50. Some died and some came back the next week. I'm sure it's a coincidence, but my Aiptasia population has increased after using Red Sea products. My next step was to raise an army of slugs to mow down everything, but that was a very expensive option (not to mention the slugs would starve once the anemones were gone). I was advised to try this material, so I grabbed some and tried it. For me, the best part about this stuff is that it sticks and stays where you put it (except on your head). I usually turn off all pumps for 10 minutes after use. When I then start the pumps again, the medication stays where I put it, even if it is flowing. Most if not all of the Aiptasia I used this material on died and did NOT come back in the following days/weeks. This material is very effective, and for anyone ready to give up, I suggest trying this material. I'm also planning to collect some mint shrimp because as good as this stuff is, I'm sure there are still Aiptasia in the tank that I just can't see/get. I think with some Shrimp and RX I can keep Aiptasia at bay if not eradicate it entirely.
