This is my new favorite fruit cleaver. It is very sharp and cuts fruit without sharp edges. It glides like butter. I cut mangoes, dragon fruit, peaches and more. This makes for a very even cut since the body is so wide. I used to cut fruit with a double knife. This works, but often has wavy lines and is not as attractive. This cleaver keeps fruit as clean as a restaurant display case. The cleaver came in a nice box with a case. The box looks really good and it was a waste to throw it away. The sheath fits perfectly and has a low profile. I keep it with my knife because the sheath fits snugly. Just remember to hand wash your knife and always dry it before putting it away. I think the extra preparation is worth it to keep this amazing knife looking great.
