MORE THAN MORE BUT SO CONVENIENT AND VALUE

I fell in love with this potato masher the moment I saw it. I knew it was bigger than the standard swarm and probably bigger than any other brand. but I HAD to have it. I like the silicone material, durable grip and easy cleaning. Oh yeah, potato starch dries like glue on metal presses, and it takes a little hot water and elbow grease to wash it off completely. It's like a slight redness. Now the elephant in the room is big, and yes, that's a consideration. I installed the crusher next to the traditional one and also placed it above the ruler to show it's almost 5 inches wide. I would prefer if the last tip of the wavy line is removed on both ends. Width but not length, which is a problem with most bowls. I literally have to use it in my brazier. Otherwise, it lacks maneuverability or enough room at the bottom of the bowl to get a really firm puree. Unfortunately, every mixing bowl I've seen has a narrower bottom. I don't use my hand mixer until the potatoes are almost done. I learned the old fashioned method from my dad and still love it best for making excellent mashed potatoes. If you have a large bowl that doesn't taper towards the bottom, this pusher works very well, more like a slow cooker. It may not be 100% practical to use, but I just had to have it and not use it. I don't regret the order at all. I'm still deducting 1 star for the size, which could have been a bit narrower for practical reasons.
