Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience with Sony LSPX-S2 Glass Sound Speaker: NFC, Bluetooth, 360Β° All-Directional, Silver by Kevin Miller

Bass response is poor depending on the genre of music you're playing. But it looks very nice

There are two ways to look at this device: 1) as a decorative object that plays music, or 2) as a speaker that looks cool. Why is it important? Because if your primary goal is reasonable, chances are you'll be disappointed. Bass response is a real fail here. The highs and mids are great. The 360 degree sound is also very cool. You can put this in the middle of the room and the sound will just be fairly omnidirectional (compared to a standard speaker) in the room. Depending on what genre of music you prefer, the lack of bass is either acceptable or detrimental. If you're into metal, hip hop, or other bass-heavy genres, this speaker just won't work for you. Even pop music will sound a bit weak. But if you only want background music, this could be the perfect option. Light jazz and other genres that don't rely that much on bass sound good. And then there's the aesthetics. You either like the look of it, think you don't. The light is a gimmick and I'm not sure what it adds, but if you want the effect of a fake candle, you're welcome. The whole looks like a modern lantern and can look good in a modern setting. It looks like the space age. So is it worth the money in the end? If all you want is a Bluetooth speaker, there are far better options for less money. If you want an "object of art" that also plays music, this could be your jam.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Embarrassing
