This cone works perfectly for my cat. I wasn't sure on size, so I bought the small (which is what worked well) and the medium. The cone goes on super easy, and stays on. The cone from the emergency vet kept falling off,and needed gauze to pad around my cats neck. I got this to replace it and it has stayed on! It's not too tight or loose as the Velcro has a very generous amount to put it together. When I took my car for a checkup on her wound, my normal vet really liked the cone and said it was a great choice. The cone also doesn't have any sharp edges, which is nice for the cat, but also putting it on. I didn't feel as bad putting this cone on her as the emergency vet's cone.
