Review on 🗺️ Garmin nüvi 850 GPS Navigator with Voice Command and FM Transmitter - 4.3" Widescreen Portable Device in Soft Black by Gary Haymon

There are many reviews on here about the unit and it is very good. Most of my thoughts that I'd like to share with other potential buyers aren't so much related to the device itself as to the included PC software and the map update process. there is still a long way to go to simplify and ease the process of updating maps. First you install the software, then connect the device, then you find that the website you go to requires you to install about 3 other things, then the map loads, then you have to find the downloaded files manually and apply etc. etc. etc. etc. I'm used to very technical things on computers, but I also found the map update process exceedingly cumbersome and it shouldn't be. The device gets a good review, but if you're not very tech savvy and think you'll want to update your maps, brace yourself for some work.
