TL). The pulley on the left is original and has a convex shape containing a concave washer (shown upside down in the photo to clarify the shape) and fits snugly against the bearing. The pulley on the right is a product that has a distinctly concave donut shape. The concave washer never touches the bearing but hugs the pulley snugly! Thus, the bolt presses on the washer, which presses on the pulley itself and prevents it from rotating. This is BAD news if you install it this way as it will likely cause the serpentine belt to slip and eventually break.
