Look closely at the width of your car seatbelt to ensure this cover will fit it correctly! This cover is better suited for a shoulder strap on a handbag or computer bag. Take note that the OUTSIDE DIMENSION is 2.4 inches and INSIDE DIMENSION is less than 1.8 inches. The inside dimension fits tight on the seatbelt shoulder strap when installed to cover all of the scratchy Velcro. It resists sliding up/down on the shoulder strap when the seatbelt is not in use and prevents the strap to recoil out of the way. This causes the seatbelt to fall out of the car when you get out of the seat, so it gets smashed as you try to close the door. The tight fit may be okay for the back seats, but not for the front seats.The material is soft. However, if any Velcro is exposed it will scratch your skin and snag on some clothing materials. The wide Velcro strip secures the cover very well and does not easily pull apart.
