Used this Autel scanner to diagnose a fallback issue on a 2015 Lexus IS250. The scanner returned a misfire DTC and using Live Data I was able to see a rapidly increasing number of misfires on cylinder 3. Plugs, codes cleared and no problems since. A temperature scan of the Cat converter was also performed to confirm the converters were not damaged due to the misfire/crash episode. So it paid quite a bit for the scanner the first time you used it! I like the ease of checking error codes and seeing real-time data on the tablet's big screen. Response time is better than other cheap scanners I've used. Special functions come in handy when you need to reset the modules after disconnecting the battery and bleeding the ABS. If you need special functions, you should check with Autel if they are supported. This scanner is great for DIY enthusiasts as you don't currently have to pay a subscription like other scanner apps.
