This product is AMAZING and beautiful. The video I posted was shot over the course of a day and showed some of the many lighting settings available to the user! The remote control makes it incredibly easy to sift through the many options available - and as you can see the light is projected very well even during the day (half lit, curtains drawn but not too thick). A timer is a great option for saving electricity, but you need to leave the lights on when you fall asleep. It's super ambient and I mainly use it to set up the red light (it fits my room's "vampire" theme perfectly)! However, there are many combinations that you can choose based on your current preferences. Sometimes I choose the multicolored option, but even then. it has a setting for most cases. There are similar products that I considered buying but decided on this one instead. It's worth the money you can spend on it, and it's actually pretty solid (the picture above it fell off and ripped it off the top of the TV where it's sitting). I was afraid it was broken but I plugged it back in and voila! It's small and compact and I think if it was in the middle of the room it would light up almost my entire ceiling. The glossy cover is removable for brighter lighting, that's how I use it. I think it's better without a cover. But it gives you the added option of using it as a night light if you so choose. I love it and am considering a second purchase for another room in my house!
