Review on Temperature Adjustment Reptiles Turtle，Under 5 51Inch11Inch by Syracuse Parrotte

Bought for the "reptile warmer” intended for us. It's more like two strips of thermal tape stuck to a very thin board. The "Temperature Control" knob is just an on/off switch that you turn like the dimmer switch in your house - it doesn't tell you what temperature it's set to. This raised the temperature of my tank by about 2-4 degrees on the side where I put it (one gauge shows 71°F and the other 74°F), which just isn't enough. I have it under my glass tank in direct contact with the glass and on top of the "hot pan rack" you would use to keep the hot pan from burning the countertop or table to keep my wood tank rack from burning. . My backing is a very thin layer of coconut fiber on the other side (just enough to hide the glass through). This is better for warming seedlings than as a heating pad for reptiles. Will definitely not buy again.
