I knew it, I just knew it
Fortunately, the purpose of "towel" did not depend on its quality (which is cheap) or material (which is fake). It arrived with a stain but I'm afraid that sending it in the washing machine may affect the colours. I have a large collection of microfiber towels so I know what they look like and how they feel. This "microfiber" towel is too flimsy and looks more like a Christmas tree skirt than a bath/beach towel, and I suspect it lacks absorbency as well. -Mandatory to use but my god if I did I would get mad.
