This is a small, compact backpack ideal for travelling. This lightweight material features a nice reflective band on the front and shoulder straps for better visibility and safety. It has a whistle built into one of the buckles on the chest, but it didn't work for me - I just blew air. Still, I think this is a great little travel backpack. It's so light and compact that it doesn't take up too much space and is great for short, easy hikes. The backpack is smaller to fit the essentials: a rolled up jacket, a water bottle, a map/field guide and some snacks and that's it. I wouldn't carry a computer in it as the backpack has no padding whatsoever - well apart from the shoulder pads which have some padding but almost none. I also like the gray color - it is not afraid of dirt. All in all a small backpack for easy hikes.
