Pick up the Croc

Just received. There were no problems installing Croc. It has a high friction "beanbag" base [although I suspect it's filled with sand, not beans]. There is a section of reusable silicone adhesive on the back. I cleaned the dashboard; I also wiped the area where I was going to install the Alligator with rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining grease/dirt. Then I removed the foil covering the sticky silicone area and placed the crocodile. It is important to remove any grease/oil where the sticky silicone is; Otherwise the sticky silicone will not stick well. I rode my 7 inch GPS in the crocodile's mouth for a couple of hours. The GPS is heavy but the crocodile never moved. It works much better than the suction cup that came with the GPS. personality to the car.
