I gave this house a good rating because I think for the price it is good value for a house with so many accessories. As the walls and floors are cardboard they are not as durable as toys that have to withstand heavy use and I would recommend them for older children (I would suggest 5 years and over) rather than toddlers as they are a bit longer must be careful with him in the game. But it was easy to put together once I understood the first room and how the pieces fit together. I liked how much furniture and accessories were included and that I didn't have to buy additional accessory packs. The lights are pleasant to the touch and my daughter loved it when I turned them on! There are three strings of lights and you can get creative with their placement in the home. Two dolls are supplied which are out of proportion with some accessories but we have had smaller dolls at home that worked well. In general, if you are looking for a cheap dollhouse, there is no need to buy any additional accessories. because it's a good choice. My daughter thinks it's great!
