Used for about a month on 5 or 6 night trips. It came charged and I charged it once. Reloading took less than two hours. The headlamp is easy to install and comparable in brightness to my Blackburn 350, the only difference being that it is more of a headlamp and the Blackburn is more focused. Although both were purchased as presence lights, they performed well in total darkness and mixed lighting in a country house with several cars driving by. They light up pretty well at 18mph so I was comfortable maintaining that pace. The "throw" of both combined is not enough to ensure good visibility at the highest speeds. Both work well enough for nighttime mountain biking, but again, the illuminated distance isn't enough to really push. The taillight has six settings, from flashing red and steady to flashing red and white. The charge lasted about 10 hours before turning solid red, indicating a weak battery.
