If you don't want a better camera, the cheaper Nokia 5.3 might be the right choice. In 5.4 there is no notification indicator which was in the power button in 5.3. It also lacks a compass, which is essential for many apps to function properly. How many ways does it really take a person to access Google Assistant? Adding a side button is annoying as it activates accidentally. The light for the camera is on the side, so using the heart rate sensor on my fitness app is much more difficult as you have to cover the flash and main camera with your finger. Quick to set up and only had to be rebooted twice to get the latest updates. Some of Android 10's apps look strange and even lag in usability compared to previous versions, but that's not Nokia's problem. I didn't notice the Wi-Fi dropout that a lot of people talk about. Nokia should have gone with a clear plastic case instead of those nasty plastic earbuds that hurt your ears, but luckily they have a 3.5mm jack. I wish I had saved $50 and gone with the 5.3.
