Great for my application of attaching a hose bib that attaches to a stainless steel hose that runs out from an interior pantry - the house was re-piped a few years ago Polybutylene and an external water valve was connected to an attached utility room and then routed outside through a hose. I switched everything to PEX and installed a new garden valve and stainless steel barbed hose at the end of the outside of the house. This stainless steel pipe holder, with a slight modification, allowed me to firmly mount the hose bib so it wouldn't move back and forth in the wall. ideal
