Reliable ADS-B receiver at a bargain price - GREAT customer service

I fly several club and rental aircraft and need a portable ADS-B receiver. I decided to try Crewdog's Stratux because it cost half or less than many other handhelds and got great reviews. It was my first wearable device and I didn't want to spend $500-$1200 on something I wasn't familiar with. All the great reviews are fully justified. The service is EXCELLENT! Sean will get back to you within hours and answer any questions or concerns.2. The block works perfectly. I tested this device with ForeFlight and iFly GPS and it worked great. AHRS was very stable and accurate - definitely useful as a backup in case of aircraft instrument failure. WAAS GPS worked perfectly and was very accurate.3. Reception of ADS-B traffic and weather is excellent.4. The device software is very easy to set up.5. Like any electronic device, this device is constantly being improved, and firmware updates are quick, easy, and free. This device requires no technical knowledge and worked for me right out of the box.6. The lifespan of the supplied battery is excellent. I've used the Stratux on several 2 hour flights and the battery showed around 70% remaining capacity. It's also easy to use a portable spare battery for very long flights or when you can't charge it between flights.7. Another example of great service is the EXTENDED iFly GPS Free Trial for Crewdog customers. On the plus side, this GREAT PERFORMANCE and fantastic hassle free customer service makes me 100% satisfied with my Crewdog receiver purchase.
