They were perfect for what I needed them for I wanted a storage container that would hold small items as the shelves are wire Although I have a hard plastic liner on the shelves I tend to tip items and use them fall down / or roll off the shelf. hardcover book. That means you can bend it. The straps/handles are very thick but I only use them for decoration. If you tie the ends together, you can use them to pick up and move the container. Will work if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
