I have half a dozen powerheads. This line is by far the best but for some reason has the worst publicity. If you search the internet for top-notch minds, this one almost never shows up in the top ten. This is the only fully adjustable powerhead I've found. Outlet, aerator inlet and flow are adjustable. The optional pre-filter (that's a whole other review) is well designed. With the right configuration, it can even be used as an independent filter/aerator/water mover. Simply place the biocarrier in your shopping cart. As a bonus, you can buy polyfil sheets at a very reasonable price and trim them to replace the filter thread. If another company is reading this that makes printheads designed just to move water, THIS IS THE STANDARD. The price, utility, reliability, and cool interaction with the filter make it the best option by far. By the way, the Powerhead 10 model is almost impossible to find. #Aquaclear, make them available. If you're improving or expanding your Powerhead range while keeping the same prices, you have no reason to buy another company's products. Fact.
