I was skeptical that this adapter wouldn't work with the 32GB M10 Optane module to accelerate an additional 6TB hard drive, but it did just that. The Optane module was immediately recognized in the BIOS and acceleration was smooth. Remember that I have made all necessary BIOS updates, drivers and BIOS changes for the module to work. Also, the Optane module is a B+M Key drive, but most importantly, it's NVMe, not SATA, so it will work with this adapter. Let's see if the M.2 connection I left open on my motherboard allows another Optane drive to simultaneously accelerate a separate 4TB hard drive. I'm sure it will work just as well for a regular NVMe SSD. Highly recommended, great product.
