Love it! This is a replacement for the "Hand-to-Hand", which is already a few years old. It heats up quickly. The only heat generated is just the food in the pan. I would say the only downside to an induction cooktop is the need to buy cookware for it. It's so easy to control the heat. Start on a high temperature when you're cooking, turn it down to a lower temperature to keep it boiling and it will respond instantly! No need to wait for the burner to cool down (electric) or adjust the flame (gas).
