Review on Just Dance 4 Microsoft Xbox 360 by Paul Rogger

I love Just Dance 1-3. I've even bought Greatest Hits just to have a new set in a game. The dances and songs are also fantastic in Just Dance 4. I like Just Dance more than Dance Central because Just Dance plays the whole song, the dance moves go so well with the music, makes it a fun exercise, and the difficulty strikes a nice balance. between not too easy and not too difficult. HOWEVER, this time they completely messed up the UI! You have to select songs by moving your hand back and forth to select a song and then tell it to play again. The problem is that Kinect rarely recognizes this move well. It usually takes us more than 5 tries (!) just to pick a stupid song. We played a lot and unlocked every MOJO, so it doesn't get better with time, contrary to what some reviewers say. I read that they added a controller option so you can cycle through it instead of Kinect, but who wants to grab a stupid controller and then go dancing again?! Moving away from controllers is what Kinect is all about! I can't imagine them testing this interface with anyone before releasing it. Big mistake on your part. I will go back to the old Just Dance games and maybe even try the new Dance Central.
