Excellent hunting binoculars for $

Optically these binoculars are excellent. They have exceptional transparency for their size. I spotted a deer a mile away and could tell it was a thorn when I looked. Adjusted correctly, they are as good as my Prostaff 7s binoculars. They weigh 3/4 pounds. If you wear glasses around your neck all day, saving a pound or more makes a world of difference. I hardly notice them. What can not be said about my Prostafs. As for the flaws, I found a few minor ones. You don't have a tripod adapter. That in itself is not a big deal, most users of these glasses don't care. If you plan on looking through glass all day, you probably won't be using these binoculars. But if you want ultra-light binoculars for this purpose and need a mount, look elsewhere. Otherwise, try your best to keep her quiet for a long time. They are light and feel comfortable in the hand. But when you hold such a light optic, it can wobble. Because they are 8 x 25mm, the exit pupil is narrow, further complicating the jitter problem. Eventually, the eyepiece advances to remove the exit pupil, but tends to retract. This is more than just a minor annoyance for the spot and mark hunter. When retracted, the eyepiece lens will fog up severely in cold weather if placed on a warm, sweaty face. This is less of a problem if the eyeball is lengthened for relief. The hunter needs time to clear the fog and adjust the eyepiece. The eyecup must hold its position and requires a deliberate twist to retract. So these little glasses are excellent, but not very forgiving. If you can take the time to adjust and not have to run and shoot, they're perfect. If you're a fast hunter, they work, but you might get frustrated with them. Overall it's fantastic for the price. If you want a lightweight optic that won't break your neck or break your money, I don't see a better option on the market. Despite some criticisms, I would definitely buy them again or recommend them to a friend who wants to lose weight with their glass.
