These are the worst kitchen bags I have ever used. I didn't throw any sharp objects in this bag but as soon as I pulled it out of our bin it leaked. I had to use a second bag to secure the first. What a waste! The second time around, I used the bag to toss the occasional litter in the room I was cleaning, making sure to keep it underneath so nothing pierced the cheap bag. But as soon as I picked it up to throw it in the bin outside, the bottom gave way and everything collapsed before it even got into the bin. I would never buy them again and wish my regular kitchen bags (Hefty) were available at the time of purchase. I have never bought Glad bags and will not buy them again. save your money
