It's been on my 2000 S10 Xtreme for about 3,000 miles now and it's an absolute must. The mistake I made (**note**) was that I originally placed the elastic too far back - the "crease" where the elastic falls down should be at the very front, at the bottom of your lip/ be thrush. I had it too far back so it just folded up instead of taking concrete hits. When positioned correctly (so it sticks out and takes a beating), it's easy on my front lip (it hits EVERYTHING on these trucks). Also, I used plastic pins to hold it in place (about 12-16 pieces). because the glue does nothing but hold it in place during installation (which is to be expected). It's taken a few REALLY hard knocks and doesn't do anything but scratches (doesn't crack, very durable). Fraud? I can see how people with fancy cars can want something cooler and more expensive, but I bet that won't last either.
