The product has a problem with the program, it won't load on your computer without a special program installed and it requires a subscription/trial version; another scam to get your hooks in your bank account. . . I advise against buying a product that takes away your freedom to use what you have already paid for. . . What, as they say; The startup problem is more computer related and has been fixed. . . The image quality problem is related to the switch on the side for the focus function. . . It has to be tight in one direction or the other or focus will not be achieved. . . The camera has held up well to my kayak and withstood seawater and harsh operating conditions. Battery life in video mode is two hours; and it doesn't have slow motion mode for a long time. . . The video is very clear and has excellent resolution; and the sound began to play after the computer program gained speed. . .
