This power supply's switch and cord are well constructed and can handle very heavy loads. I also like that it's a toggle switch (although it's unlabeled) so I can see what position it's in (like it was before I plugged in my Pi). The power supply itself is good. Although simple (a simple inverse relationship between voltage and current), voltage is well limited by tight tolerances. This type of design is dependent on factory testing and calibration, but my design is accurate (minimum load voltage 5.2V, 3A voltage 4.9V, undervoltage lockout at 4.8V). The biggest risk is that such a design is temperature sensitive and prone to drift as the components age. There are several adapters in the $10-$12 range with better circuitry, so I probably won't buy them again, but I will use them.
