The glass is not frosted as it appears.
I ordered this lamp for the bedroom but it wasn't what I expected. In the photo the lamp looks like frosted glass so I liked it, it was what I was looking for. But when I took out the glass pieces, they are all glass, transparent, not frosted. I ended up sending it back as it wasn't what I was hoping for. Assembly and installation of a lamp of medium complexity. All in all it was a good game, just not my style.
