I've noticed that my toilet bowl has turned a bluish tint due to hard water, probably because I don't use blue toilet cleaners. The CLR helps a little with a regular toilet brush, but really quite a bit and with a lot of brushing. This pumice scraper did more in five minutes than anything I've ever tried. It takes effort and I think it will take a few sessions for my toilet to fully recover, but there is a noticeable improvement after the first short use. Pumice stone is actually quite soft, so it breaks up into small particles with use. After the first use, it is about 10-20% smaller. I think a harder pumice stone might damage the enamel, but it doesn't.
